Yoko Painting

Yoko has been painting every day for two weeks.

She was getting tired of only white paint. So she was very happy when her Farrow and Ball paint arrived.

 

There is a can of grey paint for our bedroom wall and a greenish blue paint for one of Motoki's walls.

Exterior plumbing work to connect the house to the septic system.

Kitchen Island

Speakers and Kitchen

I installed a pair of Yamaha in wall speakers on either side of our main AC unit.

Our Kitchen arrived.
It will get assembled and put into place over the next few days...

Septic System

Some heavy equipment arrived to put in our septic system.

First they dug a hole.

 

This tank gets buried in the ground.

Tiling Work

Tiling work is progressing. It's a big job.

Scaffold Comes Down

The big scaffolding around the exterior finally comes down.
The house looks so much better without it.

Tiling begins

We had a professional tiler come to show us how it's done. It was very helpful to learn about the tools and materials.

We were able to finish one wall of the bathroom. We're very pleased with the tiles and the design.

Yoko's mother dropped by to bring dusty workers coffee and sweets!
